Product quality as well as consumer protection are our top priorities. As part of an integrated quality and environmental management system, we have set forth measures to identify potential risks at an early stage thus preventing any resulting hazards. All raw materials are subject to strict quality inspections, through in-house testing as well as by external laboratories.

All products are extensively tested using numerous baking tests to determine the best preparation variant before being placed on the market for sale.

From 1995 to 2009, Kathi was certified by the quality and environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

Since January 2010, KATHI Rainer Thiele GmbH undergoes annual IFS certification, which means that we successfully passed testing according to the International Food Standard (IFS, Version 5). We once again received a "Certification at a higher level" for 2012.These excellent results prove that we produce safe comestibles with invariably high quality standards.

At KATHI, ecological activities represent a holistic approach. This affects all processes and activities within the company. Particularly in the area of food production, KATHI is increasingly aware of its responsibility towards discerning consumers as well as our environment.
